The Department of Electronics, IT, BT and S&T through its innovative initiatives has been promoting Karnataka as the most preferred destination for frontier technologies, creating a conducive environment for Electronics, IT, BT and S&T related industries. Karnataka is the first state to draft its own IT, Biotech, ESDM, AVGC and Start-up policy and has set up 9 CoEs, incubation & learning centres.
